Welcome to our June Newsletter!

Markets

May at Muckle has been all out brewing, delivering and chatting beer with both regular and new customers at Farmers Markets.

We no longer go to the Jesmond Food Market though have returned to Carlisle Farmers Market in front of the amazing Carlisle Cathedral. So together with Hexham, Brampton, Greenhead and Barnard Castle our weekends keep us pretty busy. During June we’ll return to Allonby (no doubt with a Solway Coast wind!) and we look forward to the first agricultural show of the season with the Roman Wall Show in the most picturesque of locations at Steel Rigg, Twice Brewed.

The Northumbrian Hamper

We now include Seahouses in our delivery schedule, taking Muckles to the Northumbrian Hamper where all things Northumbrian can be found…plus buckets and spades!

Tynedale Beer and Cider Festival

Our tickets are ready for the 4-day Tynedale Beer and Cider Festival where we are excited to be joining the fun on the Friday. So if you spot us there please do come and say hello, plus of course enjoy the Muckle beers from the bar.

In The Garden

It’s not only the brewery that keeps us busy in our garden. In the greenhouse we have upcycled redundant beer casks for tomato, cucumber and pepper plants, using compost made rich from the spent hops.

A Muckle Day Out

May allowed a muckle trip to Ravenscar, staying in a gorgeous cottage overlooking Robin Hoods Bay. Catering for 8 included a well stocked fridge of essentials
